    Garden Tips 1-pull out all the rest the rest of the grass around the plants. 2 Add a border around the plants to define the space and put MULCH around your plants to keep out weeds…….

    You could build a green house/ hoophouse for 150 to 200 dollars on a weekend to start those seeds in. Check out my channel to see how I did it. Subscribe and comment if you like. Love the videos! I look forward to seeing more from you! Hope you are still growing veggies!

    @GataAgressiva411 Thank you, and best of luck to you with yours as well! :-)

    @hollyspry I totally agree. Yes, I’m going to plant again this year, hopefully much earlier this time. Good luck with your garden : )

    What a lovely garden. :-) You had quite a variety of sweet peppers, we grow a lot of peppers each season as well, but all hot peppers. What did you do with the bulk of your peppers? It’s so wonderful to have fresh veggies and herbs and to know that they are the delicious fruits of my own labor, it’s very rewarding, plus playing in the dirt is fun. Are you planting this year? I’m pretty stoked that Spring is here, I have my garden all diagramed out on paper already. :-)

    This will be my second Summer doing an organic garden . We all need to stock up on organic seed because the FDA has been sold out to Monsanto . Gardening is going to become essential soon . Peace .

    @th3inquisitiv31 . I agree with you. I would also like to add that what Gata said @ 2:45 to 3:05 really touched my heart.

    @sewbuttns I’m co-signing with you. Composting is an excellent diy fertilizer. In addition the the worms, you can add things like carrot skin, corn cob (?), melon rind, banana peel…etc. This video makes me want to start my own veggie garden! Maybe I’ll do an indoor / patio container garden. Thank you Gata.

    @sewbuttns thanks : )

  12. sewbuttns says:

    You should start a worm bin to make your own fertilizer. I am going to do that this summer if I have the time. Worm poop is the best fertilizer. : D

    Nice garden! Tarragon is really good in potato salad

  16. GataAgressiva411 says:

    @jinnafer damn..well I guess those weeds popping up might be spearmint. At least these ones are edible. Thank you for the advice : )

  17. GataAgressiva411 says:

    @insightnew thanks : )

  18. jinnafer says:

    Your garden looks lovely! You have done a wonderful job! I would encourage you to keep your spearmint in a container. I too love mint and last year I planted it in my garden… unfortunately, it really does take over the garden rapidly and next year you may have to really work to get it out. This year as I was yanking out mint roots all over the garden I realized why many consider mint a weed. ugh.! But good luck in your garden! =D

  19. insightnew says:

    You should try growing cabbage. You can ger a lot of food from just a few plants and they grow anywhere. Summer squash also yeilds a lot food. One plant would be more than enough for you.
    Fun stuff gardening !

  20. GataAgressiva411 says:

    @bazodee2 lol…yeah strawberries would be a good investment for me too. I eat them like mad. It’s not too late if you still want one. Some plants grow in the fall before frost.

  21. bazodee2 says:

    damn im jealous, i want one too… though, in my garden there would be rows of strawberries and a cherrie tree in the middle, all aligned in geometrical shape with the stricktest military fashion- any plant stepping out of line will be hoed and thrown in the compost…. i will not tolerate any chaos in my garden, goddarnit.

  22. bazodee2 says:

    @fractal420 – bring back the outhouse culture and we could produce our own organic fertilizers.

  23. Yvonne61 says:

    Good work,Keep it up!

  24. Maxdwolf says:

    Man! I hope it’s not that noisy all the time. Nap time would totally suck.
